About Us

OUR HISTORY

Forensic Laboratories was established in 1986 to provide quantitive drug analysis for the criminal justice community. The organization has seen extensive growth since its inception. Our services now include analysis of  a large number of prescription drugs and their metabolites essential to the practice of pain management.  Analysis is performed on both urine and oral fluid specimens. Forensic Laboratories processes thousands of samples daily.

OUR LABORATORY

The laboratory employs state of the art methodology for high throughput initial screenings of sample using immunoassay technology (both EMIT and ELISA). Quantitive confirmation analysis is performed using Liquid Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry / Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). This methodology is unsurpassed in sensitivity, precision, dynamic range and speed of analysis. Results are continually reviewed, as completed, by a highly trained staff of certifying scientists who verify the quality of each analysis. Key summary reports are verified by Dr Ruth. Sample turnaround time currently is approximately 36 hours from receipt of sample to final report.

The laboratory is CLIA certified and is licensed in a number of states requiring individual licensing for operation (CA., FL.) All of the scientific staff participates in yearly continuing education.

 MEETING CLIENT NEEDS

The Client Service staff of Ms Ray, the Laboratory staff of Mr. Irvan, the Distribution staff of Mr. Franzen, the sales staff of Mr. Osman and the toxicology expertise of Dr. Ruth are all immediately available by telephone and e-mail.

 REPORTS

Laboratory reports may be received by fax, encrypted e-mail or online.

 BILLING

Forensic Laboratories will bill Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance companies for services performed.

 SUPPLIES

Supplies are provided upon request, after an account has been initialized.
